Abhiram is sent to Jhargram for education shortly after and Sita becomes lonely. They finally end up in a brothel , both completely drunk. At the end of the film, the now completely broken Ishwar meets Sita's little son, who is now his closest relative. He cannot accept the lower caste young man as a member of the family although he has brought him up as such.
